May’s bag reminds me of summer sunsets with yellows and pinks with an orange hue conversion in the middle 🌇
Onto May's products:
1. SPACE CASE COSMETICS: Eyeshadow in Intense Stargasm
Brand: Space Case
Product: Eyeshadow
Name of Shade: Intense Stargasm
Color: Silver
Finish: Shimmer
Formula: Pressed Powder
Fallout: Minimal to None
Chalky/Flaky: No/No
Blendable: Yes
Lasts for: 8-10 Hours
Pros: Smooth as butter and ultra blendable, this eyeshadow applies like a dream and lasts for many hours. The pretty silver shade sparkles like a star in the sky and can be built up from a soft, diffused wash of color to a stronger, more intense silver tint. Lasts a crazy long time with no creasing or caking.
Cons: None
Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 out of 5)
Would I Purchase: Yes
Final Thoughts: Incredibly smooth and blendable, out of this world pigment, and no fallout make this an excellent eyeshadow.👽
2. TARTE: SEA H₂O Gloss Lip Gloss in Sail Away
Brand: Tarte Cosmetics
Product: Lip Gloss
Name of Shade: Sail Away
Color: Pink Mauve
Finish: Glossy
Formula: Gloss
Smudges/Drying/Sticky: No/No/A Little Bit Sticky
Lasts for: 2-3 Hours
Pros: Super shiny gloss in an ultra flattering mauve-pink shade. It’s also extremely hydrating, so it has the benefits of a balm with the appearance of a gloss.
Cons: Although it’s a nice lip gloss, it isn’t anything beyond just a lip gloss. It claims to have antioxidants and other extracts to nourish lips, maybe I’ll see results as I use it long term, but at this point I can't see paying the retail price for just a typical lip gloss. Very similar to the retired Urban Decay Naked lip gloss.
Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭑⭑ (3 out of 5)
Would I Purchase: Probably Not
Final Thoughts: A very adequate lip gloss with some possible benefits, but nothing different from any other lip gloss.
3. Nails.INC Nail Polish: Nail Polish in Primrose Walk
Product: Nail PolishBrand: Nails.INCName of Shade: Primrose WalkColor: Deep MagentaFinish: GlossNumber of Coats to Get Bottle Shade: 1Lasts for: Approximately 2 Weeks
Pros: Really nice shade of pink, perfect for the start of summer. This polish glides on effortlessly and stays intact for about two weeks.
Cons: As with any polish there is some chipping after a couple weeks.
Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 out of 5)
Would I Purchase: Yes
Final Thoughts: Truly lovely nail polish in a fun color with pretty decent staying power before chipping occurs.
4. JEJU:EN: Aloe Gel Sleeping Mask
Brand: JeJu:En
Product: Mask
Size: Mini
Formula: Gel
Skin Type It Works Best For: Dry to Combination
Pros: A nice gel mask that smoothes on skin evenly and gives a refreshing tingling sensation. It provides moisture and hydrates skin.
Cons: Can transfer to pillowcase if worn overnight. It does moisturize but I didn’t notice anything beyond what a decent moisturizer can do on its own without a mask.
Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭑⭑⭑ (2 out of 5)
Would I Purchase: No
Final Thoughts: If you are in need of some extra boosts of hydration this is a fine mask to add to your routine, otherwise I don’t see myself purchasing it.

Now for June's #ipsymakewaves 🏊
JUNE
Quick Stats:
My Overall Star Rating for June's Glam Bag: ⭐⭐⭑⭑⭑ (2 out of 5)Thoughts on June’s Glam Bag: A couple of very useful products in June’s bag, and some that I won’t get much use out of.
Number of Products I'll Use Regularly: 2
Not gonna lie I can't really make the connection between the design on the bag and the theme of 'Make Waves' but it's cute and I like the blue hair! 💙
1. OFRA COSMETICS:"Covent Garden" Highlighter
Brand: Ofra Cosmetics
Product: Highlighter
Name of Shade: Covent Garden
Color: Rosy Cream
Finish: Pearl
Formula: Powder
Fallout: None
Smudges/Streaks/Runs: No/No/No
Blendable: Yes
Chalky/Flaky/Crumbly: No/No/No
Lasts for: 10+ Hours
Pros: I’m in love with this highlighter! It was my pick for the month of June and I am so pleased with it. It’s a creamy, soft powder that glides on so perfectly smooth and gives the perfect amount of glow without looking too extreme. It’s such a flattering highlighter shade I want to buy more it now!
Cons: None
Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 out of 5)
Would I Purchase: Yes!
Final Thoughts: Fabulous highlighter that gives a radiant lit-from-within glow and lasts all day. Definitely the savior of June’s bag.
2. MARC ANTHONY TRUE PROFESSIONAL: Bye Bye Frizz Heat Protectant Leave-in Conditioner
Brand: Marc Anthony True Professional
Product: Conditioner
Size: Mini
Formula: Cream
Pros: A really nice conditioner that helps cut down on frizz thanks to coconut oil and other nourishing ingredients.
Cons: It’s a good product, but is it better than other anti-frizz conditioners? No, not in my opinion, it’s about on the same level as the rest.
Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭑⭑ (3 out of 5)
Would I Purchase: No
Final Thoughts: A good conditioner, it delivers on what it claims, but it’s similar to many other anti-frizz conditioners.
3. MAËLLE BEAUTY: Clearly Brilliant Tinted Lips in Nectar
Brand: Maëlle Beauty
Product: Lipstick
Name of Shade: Nectar
Color: Peachy Coral
Finish: Satin
Formula: Lip Crayon
Smudges/Drying/Sticky: No/No/No
Lasts for: 3-4 Hours
Pros: At first I didn’t think I would like this lip crayon purely based on the color, but after applying it and wearing it I have to say: I really like it! The shade isn’t too sheer or peachy; it gives a nice coral like color to lips. It is also very comfortable to wear, non drying and even once it begins to fade it leaves a nice wash of color.
Cons: It fades faster than a typical lipstick and can transfer when drinking or eating.
Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭑⭑ (3 out of 5)
Would I Purchase: Maybe
Final Thoughts: Pretty color, comfortable and lightweight, and with a few extra steps you can make it last longer and minimize transfer.
4. NANETTE LEPORE: Body Lotion in Colors of Nanette
Brand: Nanette LeporeProduct: Body Lotion Size: Mini Formula: Lotion
Scent Last for: 5-6 Hours
Pros: The body lotion counterpart to the perfume Colors of Nanette comes in a super pretty multicolor tube. The fragrance is a distinct floral and being from a perfume line the scent lasts quite a long time.
Cons: The downside of being a perfume derivative is the scent is much stronger than the typical lotion, so it has a very intense floral bouquet that can be overwhelming when first applied.
Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭑⭑⭑ (2 out of 5)
Would I Purchase: No
Final Thoughts: Fragrance reviews are subjective; what one person likes another might not. But for me, it has a strong scent that can be overpowering but if given time to "breathe" it has more of a muted floral scent that is rather nice.
5. HOUSE OF MAKEUP: Nail Lacquer in Flat White
Product: Nail Polish
Brand: House of Makeup
Name of Shade: Flat White
Color: Beige
Finish: Cream
Number of Coats to Get Bottle Shade: 2
Lasts for: 1-1½ Weeks
Pros: Really good quality nail lacquer that applies smooth and adheres nicely to nails. It lasts a decent amount of time too.
Cons: It does start to chip relatively soon and the shade is not for me.
Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭑⭑ (3 out of 5)
Would I Purchase: Maybe (in a different color)
Final Thoughts: It definitely is a good nail polish formula, it does chip, but it can last longer if you're willing to do some minor touch ups along the way.
