I'm so happy you clicked/tapped on my 'About Me' section 😊

For starters, I am the sole author and contributor of ultimabeautyofficial.com a beauty and lifestyle blog.

I created Ultima Beauty in 2014.

I was struggling with burnout from college and studying when I discovered beauty vloggers on YouTube and their blogs.
Watching different vloggers and reading their work was relaxing and entertaining. It also reinvigorated my love for writing, and makeup.

Thus, Ultima Beauty blog was born, and my YouTube channel a year later.

Despite life changes, family tragedies, and a global pandemic that all impacted my posting and sharing schedule I am still dedicated to providing honest, thorough reviews and fun, helpful tutorials.

Makeup and beauty is something that is ever changing. 

There is no right or wrong way to do your makeup (no matter what they tell you). 

There is no limit (except your imagination) to what you can create. 

There is a freedom in makeup creation. 

Reviewing makeup products is very important to me because, well for one reason, cosmetics cost money, sometimes a lot of money. And some products no matter how high-end their brand name is, are just subpar.

You don't have to always break the bank to get an incredible beauty product!

In fact, my go-to foundation is a drugstore brand 😁

I want to arm my readers with the knowledge they need to make a beauty purchase with confidence and a pretty good chance of loving the product.

These realities are what have always brought me back to my blog and the beauty world.

Writing has been an integral part of my being since I learned how to write.

Writing is like breathing to me.

A Little Personal Background

I'm a born and raised New Yorker who has been planning a trip to Boston for the past seven years 😲

(room was booked, was all packed and ready to go in mid-March of 2020... You know the rest).

Maybe this is my year!

I studied hospitality management and then paralegal studies. 

Graduating with degrees in both fields.

Although both fields bring me joy, nothing compares to the joy that writing brings me.
 And writing about what I love is even better.

After spending so much time posting and promoting my blog on social media, I discovered a love for marketing and will returning to school this fall (2024) to study it in more depth. 

Speaking of things I love, I'm a huge sports fan!

I seriously considered becoming a sports writer when I was younger.

After all, I was the Super Sabres Fan when I was a young teenager 😂

(Ugh, that haircut. That was the aughts lol)

As time has gone on I have developed a love for the NFL & PGA, as well as hockey.

I even had the opportunity to attend the final round of the PGA Championship when it was in NY (and saw Michael Block's incredible hole in one!)

  My favorites: Viktor Hovland, Rory McIlroy, and Scottie Scheffler.

And can't forget some football practice where I saw this guy whose name escapes me 😄

So, that is how this sports obsessed, marketing student started a beauty blog.
